Tree Chalets are located in the suburb of Acton Park, population 220. We are a small rural community farming sheep, wool, dairy and beef. The ranges on the southern horizon are the Whicher Ranges. Our farm of 90 acres sits at the base of these ranges at 50 metres above sea level. The beautiful white trunked trees you will see from your front deck are Rosegums. There are over 1250 of them; painstakingly planted and trimmed by our family. From the back deck there is a wonderful vista of marri and jarrah forest. (And of course our luxurious outdoor cast iron baths!!) Often in the mornings guests will awaken to see kangaroos on their doorstep. You won’t even have to get out of bed (or the bath) to enjoy the Australian wildlife. The same can be said for the birdlife around the chalets. In Spring guests should prepare themselves for prolific birdsong and many sightings of the beautiful Carnaby cockatoos. In October the wildflowers start to bloom and the bush slowly comes alive with magnificent waves of colour.
